Roster Shakeup Coming in Wake of  MHC Cup

From the Associate Press Wires

By R. Inkrat, AP Hockey Writer

FALMOUTH, MAINE - The Morning Hockey Club team rosters, changed amid such controversy before the recent Richelieu Cup playoffs, look to be changing again.  GM Gerald "Gerry" Nadeau has turned the project over to veteran star Tim "The Statistician" Boardman to gather data on individual players and readjust the rosters.  Even before the eagerly anticipated announcement of the new configuration, there have been comments and mild objections from the players.

Nadeau, however, is sticking to his guns (are we allowed to mention guns in print any more?).  "Guys," he said, "we’re mixing it up.  Every skate is different depending on who shows up," he explained, "however, when you have the top 3 guys on one team, and those 3 guys show up every week…it’s tough to compete…that and the #1 goalie and the top rated defense..come on!"

The shakeup comes in the wake of the inexplicable 4-0 sweep of the Blue Dogs by the Gold Weasels in the headline Richelieu Cup event over recent weeks.  Boardman's work is scheduled to be announced in an Internet press conference this weekend, and will be reported here immeditely upon release.
